Privacy Policy

Last updated November 4, 2026. This policy explains what Welqo collects, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you and your customers have over it. Welqo is operated by Clipnova AI (proprietor: Shweta Tiwari), India.

Signing in with Google: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture (openid, email and profile permissions). We use them only to create your account, sign you in and show who is signed in.

Google user data (Google Calendar): connecting Google Calendar is optional and can be turned off at any time. If you connect it, Welqo asks Google for permission to see and edit events on your Google calendars (calendar.events) and to see the email address of the account you connect (userinfo.email). We use them only to keep your Welqo bookings and your calendar in step: when a customer books, moves or cancels an appointment with your business, we create, update or delete the matching event in your primary Google Calendar (service, customer name and phone number, date and time); and before Welqo offers times to your customers, we read the start and end times of the events in your primary calendar for the days being offered, so a time you are already busy is not offered. Events marked "free" and cancelled events are ignored, and we do not keep event titles, descriptions, attendees or locations.

What we store from Google: the connected account's email address and an encrypted refresh token, so the sync keeps working. Busy times read from your calendar are used in memory for that one availability check, for at most a minute, and are not stored. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share or transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide this feature, to comply with applicable law, or with your consent. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No one at Welqo reads your calendar data except with your permission (for example, when you ask for support), when needed for security, or when required by law.

Turning Google Calendar off: tap Disconnect on the Google Calendar card in Welqo — we revoke Welqo's access with Google and delete the stored token. You can also remove Welqo's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Events already created stay in your calendar until you delete them. Limited Use: Welqo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we collect from you, the business: your name, email address, business name, business category, services and prices, opening hours, and — if you connect one — the WhatsApp Business number you authorise through Meta. We store your password only as a salted one-way hash and can never read it.

What we process on behalf of your customers: the phone number they message you from, their name if they give it, the appointment they book, and the message history of that booking conversation. This data belongs to your business. We act as a processor for it, we do not sell it, and we never use it to advertise to your customers.

WhatsApp messages are delivered through the official WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta, and are subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policy in transit. Welqo requests only the permissions needed to send and receive messages on the number you explicitly select during connection.

Payments: card, UPI and bank details are entered directly with our payment processors (Razorpay for India, PayPal and Dodo Payments internationally) and are never stored on Welqo servers. Where you take customer deposits, funds settle to your own connected account — Welqo takes 0% commission on your bookings.

Retention and deletion: we keep your account data while your account is open. You can export your customer list at any time, and you can request full deletion of your account and all associated conversation data by contacting us — we action verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where we must retain invoices for tax law.

Security: all traffic is encrypted in transit over TLS, access tokens are stored encrypted, and each business's data is isolated by tenant. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, ever.

Cookies and analytics: we use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and Google Analytics to understand how pages are used. Questions or data requests: [email protected].
